Dutch star and prodigy, Xavi Simons, is the man apart of a key German transfer saga that sees FC Bayern and RB Leipzig battle for his signature. Xavi who is under contract with PSG has returned to the club following his loan with again suitor RB Leipzig and has asked the French club for permission to leave. The French Giants have agreed to let Xavi leave and let him decide his next club on the condition that it starts as a loan to avoid the fact that PSV Eindhoven would gain most of the profits of a transfer. FC Bayern, a team pushing for Xavi, have been in non stop contact with the player throughout his superb Euros tournament and have been really attacking the situation personally in hopes to sway the player towards them. The information I have received and that I reported previously was that from the agent side of the player stating he is 'leaning' towards Bayern over RB Leipzig. RB Leipzig have taken a much tamer different approach to this saga and they have let the player fight to the Euros Semi-final in peace whilst also letting him know of their interest and intention of loaning him back out again. Now after the Euros is over and teams are beginning to shape up for the new campaign a decision from Xavi Simons on his new club is expected very soon with some saying we should hear news over the next week. The decision is very close but not yet done with Bayern and Leipzig battling and we might yet see Premier League clubs enter the discussion concretely soon. Nevertheless this saga should be over soon and not drag out too long. Keep watching this space 👀
