Tottenham faulter as Angel Gabriel Strikes Felllow Londoners.


The much anticiptated North London derby ended with Arsenal having the last laugh. The game started on high note with both teams squandering big chances.


Brazilian international Mertinelli failed to square up Bukayo Sako who was on goal while former Chelsea academy graduate and new marquee signing Dominic Solanke missed to score by a whisker following an excellent cross from James Maddison.


30 minutes into the game, an altercation between Oranjes's Jurrien Timber and French National GK Vicario occures with the former nearly getting a red card after commiting a strong foul. After a V.A.R review the referee settled for a yellow card. Brennan Johnson missed afew chances as the game went on.


Tottenham slowed down their tempo in the second half. After a chaotic 20 minutes with both teams failing to convert their chances Arsenal centre back, Gabriel scored from a corner with Romero ball watching. Chelsea loanee Raheem Sterling and Gabriel Jesus came on for Trossard and Gabriel Martinelli to chase the game.


Raheem Sterling nearly got a debut goal witgh Nanweri making a cemeo late on. This is the kind of response manager Arterta would have wanted after a lacklustre performance against Brighton and Hove Albion before the international break that saw Declan Rice sent off and earning draw.


Arsenal are two points behind defending Champions Manchester City. Arteta's men visit Atlanta in the Champions League before hosting Pep's Manchester City at the Emirates in the Premier League.
