Sparta Prague has signed two players from FC Rapid 1923. Not only did the duo play together in Romania, but they also currently play together for the Kosovar national team.
The first to arrive in Prague is Ermal Krasniqi. The 25-year-old left winger played only half a season for FC Rapid 1923, joining the club from CFR Cluj in January 2024. In his 17 appearances, the Kosovar international scored 6 goals and provided 3 assists. His transfer fee is estimated to be around 2 million euros.
The second Kosovar is Albion Rrahmani. The striker, who suffered an ankle injury early last season, returned even stronger. The 23-lyear-old from Kosovo scored 18 goals and provided 6 assists in 29 games for FC Rapid 1923.
Both players have known each other for quite some time, having previously played together for FC Ballkani in Kosovo.
These two attacking players are a well-coordinated duo and will undoubtedly help Sparta Prague in their pursuit of national titles, and in the Champions League!
