Rivio Ayemwenre is an 18-year-old Nigerian footballer who plays for Ikorodu City. His primary position is offensive midfielder, but he can also play central midfielder. His preferred foot is right.
Ayemwenre is an average fast player, agile with good coordination. He is physically weak. He is good at heading, but he had bad jumping ability. Sometimes he enters duels fearfully, often wins duels on the ground, but his aerial duels is bad. In the final third he is often selfish. He makes poor decisions in the final third, dribbling or shooting even though he has better options at that moment. He scans often and has good vision. Rivio moves well off the ball and usually runs into the box.
He is calm when he has the ball at his feet and sometimes carries the ball from his own half to the opponent's half. First touch is his best advantage, he is able to pass the defender with one touch. He has excellent ball control, his dribbles are mostly successful and varied. He is successful in passing, pass into space is precise and timely. Sometimes he takes corners and free kicks and has a very good cross. He doesn't have an accurate long shot. Not very useful in defensive set-pieces because of his bad jump.
Ayemwenre is a talented playmaker with excellent first touch and ball control. He can be even more dominant if he works on his selfishness and decision making in the final third. He has potential and can reach some of the weaker leagues in Europe.
