Mamardashvili pleads with Valencia as tensions rise in Liverpool move.

Actualizado: 23 sept

Liverpool have made it known they have an interest in Mamardashvili and that has been proven after the club have agreed personal terms with the Georgian goalkeeper on a deal that would see him earn around €4.5m in wages per year. Since personal terms have been agreed, the English Giants have been in tough and tense negotiations with Valencia owner Peter Lim who has set a super high bar on a deal and has requested around €40m euros. Liverpool have made 3 bids for the player already and their latest one is very close to the asking price of Valencia. However, it is about £4m or €5m in difference from what Lim wants and negotiations have recently become war like as Marca have described it. Mamardashvili sees this as his dream move and has begun along with his agent and entourage to plead Peter Lim and Valencia to give up on this high asking price and just settle the deal with the English club. If Hughes wants this deal he must get his act together and begin to have brighter discussions with Valencia in order to get something done. Contacts remain ongoing and this week will be key to understand if this deal moves forward or not.
